Chemical weed-killing back (Cambridgeshire County Council), Cambridge Independent

Article incorporating our response to Cambridgeshire County Council's reversal of their short-lived herbicide-free policy (https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/travel-roads-and-parking/roads-and-pathways/weed-spraying).

Seems they have learnt little if anything from Cambridge City Council with whom we have worked hard since 2020 to bring about a successful ban on herbicide-use on public land across the city. However, the fact that they do at least now publish spraying schedules in advance on their website may at least help to increase the visibility of their appallingly tone-deaf actions, and to bring about much-needed public dissent.
